We planned to do pick up where we left off and do a Peru trip after covid. My friend recommended me Robinson from Machula expeditions and we had high expectations. Those expectations were not only met but immensely surpassed. After landing in Cusco, we were immediately catered to and shown the city after being taken to lunch. Adrian was very informative of the trip to come and was a great tour guide of Cusco!
We did the lares trek and short day Inca trail.
Robinson and the porters made us feel like sapa Inca (kings) as they made camp, cooked us dinner (which was 5-star) and broke camp down each day before our hike. I loved the personal touch’s that was provided along the trip which included, fresh tea in our tents every Morning, meeting the locals who were farming potatoes, fishing with the locals (bring your rod if you’re a trout fisherman), eating traditional meals with loved ones and much much more!We are both well traveled as this is our 70th country traveled together collectively and have decided that because of Robinson, Adrian, and the Machula team this was our most favorite trip to date!!!
If you are considering a Peru trip, I wouldn’t consider looking anywhere else then Machula expeditions. There attention to detail, personal touches, and top tier service is close to none. Thank you Robinson, Adrian, and the Machula team. This is not good bye but see you again brothers!
